WhatsApp

I worked with Meta through Tek Systems on contract on a variety of projects, including designing the presentation material used at Connect 2025.

The bulk of my time at Meta, however, was spent with the B2B marketing team at WhatsApp where I helped evolve their brand, built the visuals for a variety of campaigns, and created a system of illustrations, designs, content modules and templates used to streamline the execution of high volume multi-channel marketing campaigns on social, email, and in-platform. Most material, including this long-form content found by clicking here, was focused on communicating serious, data driven concepts in a way that still felt native to the playful brand that WhatsApp has cultivated over the years. I achieved this in part by creating a set of infographics-styled illustrations that lives alongside the rest of the WhatsApp illustration library. I've animated some examples of these illustrations below.

I also worked with their strategist and copywriter to create a campaign for the World Cup, presenting WhatsApp as an ideal platform for marketing messages surrounding the event. I created a visual system that could effortlessly iterate for localization and for different key verticals, and that clearly communicated the core message of the campaign - that WhatsApp allows businesses to place their marketing right where the action is; directly on each fan's phone.

Throughout my time there as a side project I offered to build out an evergreen catalog of curated AI generated photography, with a wide variety of settings and subjects to be used across their marketing executions.
